Book-Anchor Evidence Update Report

Confirmation

The ECC Research Atlas is now explicitly anchored to Victor C. Li, Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECC): Bendable Concrete for Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure, Springer, 2019 (DOI 10.1007/978-3-662-58438-5) as its primary foundation. The 13 foundational papers preserved under 00_sources/foundational_papers/ and mirrored as cards under 03_papers/ are retained as supporting / verification sources. Each updated node now presents evidence in a book-first hierarchy under a single ## Anchor evidence section with two required subsections:

  1. ### Primary book anchor — Victor C. Li 2019 book evidence.
  2. ### Supporting foundational papers — supporting paper cards.

Prior paper-first framing replacement

None of the ten target files contained a ## Foundational evidence heading prior to this pass; therefore no existing paper-first evidence section was overwritten. Instead, a new ## Anchor evidence section was appended to each file with the book-first two-subsection hierarchy. Existing ## Linked nodes sections and any prior body content (including previously curated Chapter 2 / Chapter 4 evidence and foundational-paper links) were preserved untouched. The new ## Anchor evidence section supersedes older prose for citation purposes going forward.

Protected directories

The following were NOT modified in this pass:

Only the ten target Atlas node files under 02_concepts/ and 05_experiments/ were edited, plus this report and the companion JSON summary in 07_visualization/.
